By using Hydroforming in the manufacturing process we are able to have a lower profile on this part than a conventional SwitchFire® X-Pipe. This SwitchFire® X-Pipe is 21.1″ Long x 7.8″ Wide x 5.5″ High with 3″ I.D. Inlet and 3″ O.D. Outlet. Centerline spacing on inlet and outlets is 4″. Reversible design for installation flexibility. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA®’S patented SwitchFire® design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance. The result is an aggressive custom sound and improved power. Notched Outlet necks for easy clamp-on installation using 1″ wide band style clamps 18330 (clamps not included). Each SwitchFire® X-Pipe is built from premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability.     aFe is proud to introduce the Takeda Mid-Pipe Exhaust System for the 2013-2014 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6. In testing, this system produced an additional 2 horsepower and 3 lb. x ft. torque when added to the Takeda Axle-Back Exhaust System (P/N 49-36607). This exhaust pipe starts out with OE-style flanges and uses 2.5″ tubing which improves performance across the power band while maintaining a great tone. TIG-welded and brushed finish mandrel-bent, 304 stainless steel tub ing is used for maximum strength and durability. This system is equipped with a 4″ diameter 304 stainless steel resonator for maximum flow and eliminating exhaust drone. This exhaust uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation. No modifications necessary.
