Mishimoto 03-07 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Transmission Cooler

Heavy loads are no match for a 2003-2007 6.0L Powerstroke equipped with the Mishimoto 6.0 transmission cooler. Complement your cooling system with the latest addition to Mishimoto’s 6.0 Powerstroke performance parts, the all-new 6.0 transmission cooler. The stock 6.0 Powerstroke transmission cooler does an ample job of keeping temperatures down, but as the loads increase, so do transmission temps. The 37-row Mishimoto’s stacked plate cooler provides a larger surface area over both of the stock coolers. Core volume is increased by a whopping 21-percent, and fluid capacity is increased by 1/3 qt. With the Mishimoto 6.0 transmission cooler, high transmission fluid temperatures will be the least of your worries. The increased size of this 6.0L transmission cooler provides a proven 10+ F drop in transmission fluid temperature! No modifications are necessary for installation, and, just like all Mishimoto 6.0 Powerstroke parts, this cooler comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

While many enthusiasts might miss the third pedal on the latest Supra’s floor, the quick-thinking ZF 8HP mated with the B58 more than makes up for it. However, even with the latest transmission technology, the age-old enemy to sports cars rears its head: heat. The tag team at Toyota and BMW were already ahead of the game by fitting the A90 Supra with an external liquid-to-air transmission cooler, but heavy demand can still be too much. With plenty of room to grow, our engineering team expanded the transmission cooler’s core, increasing the volume by 162-percent and the external fin surface area by 412-percent while retaining similar fluid pressures within the system. The DYME Pro/Spec Quick Release Fittings offer race-proven performance with the convenience of tool-free clamshell removal and capable of withstanding up to 10,000 PSI. Quick Release fittings make the installation of the CSF kit much faster than traditional threaded fittings. In addition, they make maintenance like fluid changes much less of a headache.
