The HRT Camshaft Series uses the newest and most advanced lobe designs from COMP Cams in order to produce some of the highest average power and torque increases available for turbo and supercharged engines. The “Low Shock Technology” features lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher RPM. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. These new HRT Camshafts receive the Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process as a standard feature, which increases strength and performance by reducing surface peak roughness and provides a 250% improvement in the effective load bearing area, allowing for much higher loads.
Organized into stages, these new options range from mild street up to heavily modified race-oriented builds. All HRT Turbo & Supercharger Camshafts require a COMP Cams DOD Delete Kit and upgraded valve springs. Depending on application, 5.7L-6.4L w/ VVT 2009+ engines also require either a COMP Cams phaser limiter or lock kit.
Perfect Choice for 5.7L Eagle or 6.4L Apache with 2.5L and smaller blowers while keeping limited phaser control for off idle response. (Req DOD Delete, 26918 Springs & Phaser Limiter)
See 201-337-11 for Stage 2, Turbo options available under 201-330-11 and 201-332-11

Fits ’87+ GEN 1 Chevrolet 305-350 Small Blocks w/ Factory Roller Camshafts (Not LT-1/LS1 etc)
Race XD Solid Roller Lifters are the strongest, most durable and versatile lifters available from the leader in valve train technology, COMP Cams. Designed to be the most versatile solid roller lifters available, COMP Cams Race XD lifters feature a lightweight modular design with five interchangeable pushrod seats. Available in medium or large offsets with left or right placement, the COMP Cams Race XD series lifters are configurable to clear even the most extreme intake angles. REM finished bodies create an extra smooth surface for reduced lifter body and lifter bore wear. An available DLC-coated lifter body coating further minimizes friction for the ultimate in durability. For excellent strength in extreme operating conditions, COMP Cams incorporates a proprietary bronze alloy roller bushing, while a captured link bar joins individual lifters together. In an effort to eliminate the culprit for most roller lifter failures, axle and wheel oil starvation, COMP Cams developed a new oiling system that ensures consistent roller wheel and axle lubrication. COMP Cams Race XD Solid Roller Lifter sets are available in 0.842” and 0.904” diameter bodies for both Chevrolet Small Block and Big Block engines. 0.080” and 0.160” offset seats are available for 0.842” diameter lifters while 0.090” and 0.180” offset seats fit the 0.904” diameter lifters. All pushrod seats are designed to accommodate both 5/16”and 3/8” ball pushrods.
Race XD lifters for .842″ bore Chevrolet Small Blocks are the strongest and most durable bronze bushed solid roller lifter available, featuring a REM finished surface that reduces wear with a new oiling design to eliminate oil starvation.
See 99818D-16 for DLC coated lifter set.
Chevrolet Small Block Engines with .842″ Diameter Lifter Bore.
Reduced Travel OE-Style Hydraulic Roller Lifters. When dealing with full travel lifters, certain engines respond better to a light pre-load because it recovers more quickly from any bad harmonics in the valve train. Others work better with a heavy pre-load because oil volume is reduced under the plunger, which increases stiffness. COMP Cams Reduced Travel Hydraulic Roller Lifters allow you to have the advantages of both light pre-load and reduced oil volume, producing the most stable and highest revving hydraulic lifter available. Applications: Ford Small Block: Use in Ford OE 302/351W blocks equipped with hydraulic Roller lifters/Roller lifter provisions. Use COMP Cams specially designed Ford Hydraulic Roller Retro-Fit Kit for 289-302, 351W, 351C, 351M, 400M. Use in Aftermarket Blocks with Roller lifter provisions or use Ford Hydraulic Roller Retro-Fit Kit. Specifications: Includes (16), .875″ Diameter, 128g Weight, 2.60″ Seat Height.
