COMP Cams LS Timing Cover part # 5497 is designed to work with the GM Gen IV LS7 engines unique oil pump and chain tensioner setup. The cover will work with any GM block as long as it has the LS7 oil pump/chain tensioner setup on it. It will also work with raised Cam location blocks like the RHS® LS Alum. Block. Unlike other aftermarket covers, this one comes with a gasket and crank Seal.
