    This Victor CNC cylinder head for Jeep 4.0L inline-six engines is a fully CNC-ported version of the popular 50169 Performer cylinder head Edelbrock has been producing for the past 19 years. The head features a 182 cc intake port, a 77 cc exhaust port, and a 55 cc combustion chambers. As an additional improvement the Victor CNC has a valve job to match up with the COMP Cams LS-style 8 mm valvetrain. Utilizing the LS-style valves opens a larger variety of valve spring combinations to fit any camshaft profile. These heads are manufactured with premium materials and machined to the industry’s tightest tolerances. Features include ductile-iron valve seats and fully CNC-machined ports for maximum airflow. The premium manganese bronze valve guides withstand long wear with emphasis placed on holding precision tolerances on valve seat concentricity to securely seal the valves, eliminate leak down, and increase cylinder pressures during engine operation.
    This Victor CNC cylinder head for Jeep 4.0L inline-six engines is fully CNC ported, featuring 182 cc intake ports, 77 cc exhaust ports, and 55 cc combustion chambers, with a valve job to match the COMP Cams LS-style 8 mm valvetrain.
    This cylinder head will also swap onto all AMC Inline six 4.2L engines. This cylinder head must be used with a 1991-2006 intake manifold and a 1991-1998 exhaust manifold. Aftermarket exhaust headers can also be used in place of 1991-1998 exhaust manifolds and MUST be used in place of 1999-2006 exhaust manifolds. Most aftermarket exhaust headers are compatible, but please check with the exhaust header manufacture to verify. This head is NOT compatible with 1999-2006 OEM exhaust manifolds. This cylinder head will also swap onto all AMC Inline six 4.2L engines. However, this swap will require the use of a 4.0L 1991-2006 intake & exhaust manifolds. No modifications are required to the water jacket when swapping an Edelbrock Jeep Performer 4.0L head onto a 4.2L. This cylinder head is a direct bolt-on to 1991-2006 applications originally using 7120, 0360, and 0331 castings. This head will also bolt onto 1987-90 engines (2686 casting) with the 1991-2006 intake manifolds & 1991-1998 exhaust manifolds or aftermarket headers. This cylinder head will also swap onto all AMC Inline six 4.2L engines. However, this swap will require the use of a 4.0L 1991-2006 intake & exhaust manifolds. No modifications are required to the water jacket when swapping an Edelbrock Jeep Performer 4.0L head onto a 4.2L.

    The Edelbrock #50159 Performer Cylinder Head is designed as a bolt-on performance upgrade for 1987-2006 Jeep’s with a 4.0L inline six engine. They feature better flowing intake/exhaust ports along with a modern combustion chamber design and back cut and swirl polished valves for improved flow. Retains the stock valve angle, pushrod length and valve cover bolt pattern for use with factory components and off the shelf accessories. Larger reinforced rocker bosses for improved strength at high RPM and Heli-Coil threaded inserts in the intake manifold bolt holes for added strength as well as a 3/4″ deck throughout the head also promotes stiffness and durability. This cylinder head is machined to accept both distributor or coil pack ignition. To optimize airflow, this cylinder head is designed with a 1991-2006 4.0L intake port location and 1991-98 4.0L exhaust port size. As a result, this cylinder head must be used with a 1991-2006 intake manifold and a 1991-1998 exhaust manifold.
