Tuned by legendary 4 time Le Mans winner, Johnny O’Connell , this package features sway bars and shocks designed to provide your Corvette with racecar level road holding ability, and the street-ability you would expect from your daily driver. The Johnny O’Connell Series sway bars feature lightweight tubular alloy steel construction — 35mm front with two adjustment points and 32mm rear with three — allowing precise tuning of your Corvette’s feel and responsiveness. Each kit includes heavy-duty CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum rear brackets, front and rear polyurethane bushings, and 1/2″ heim joint end links with CNC-machined studs for exceptional strength and articulation. Finished in signature JO yellow powder coat, these bars are built to perform and look great for years to come. Complementing the sway bars are the Johnny O’Connell Signature Series Shocks, tuned by Johnny O’Connell to the exact specifications needed for a perfect balance between performance and smooth ride. Together, this suspension package provides the ultimate balance of performance and precision — transforming your C7 Corvette into a machine that feels just as confident on the street as it does on the track. These sway bars and shocks are a bolt-on solution for your Corvette and are tuned by Johnny O’Connell to the exact specifications needed for a perfect balance between performance and smooth ride. The damping curve has been completely revised, removing the harsh, high speed ride characteristics associated with OEM dampers, while offering increased “platform” to keep the car planted in turns or transition inputs like slalom or road courses.

aFe Control is proud to introduce the Stage 1 Package for the 2017-2018 Honda Civic Type R I4-2.0L (t). This Stage 1 Package features sway bars and springs designed to provide your Focus RS with racecar level road holding ability and the street-ability you would expect from your daily driver. The package offers increased roll stiffness without upsetting the vehicles balance and traction control systems, while vehicle looks are enhanced with the 7/8″ (22mm) front and rear lowering springs. Perfectly balanced, the 1.25″ (32mm) front and 1″ (25.4mm) rear bar are lightweight tubular construction and feature CNC machined TIG welded bar ends for a perfect fit. The kit includes CNC machined 6061-T6 sway bushing brackets for the rear that are anodized black and a direct fit for the included polyurethane bushings. The springs are engineered to optimize the factory shock absorber damping and offer a 7/8″ (22mm) front rear drop for the perfect blend of performance and style, giving you the confidence to take that turn without adversely affecting ride quality. For years of durability and great looks, the bars and springs are powder-coated a special 2 stage tangerine orange. The package is designed as a direct fit application and requires no modifications to the vehicle.

The Supra is back! Out of the box it does a lot of things well. However, it does exhibit some shortcomings. One thing you notice immediately is the numbness in the steering response near neutral position. The car feels like it hesitates to change direction. Once the car takes a set in a corner, the short wheelbase does make up for the slow ratio steering, but there is still a driver/car disconnect when initiating a turn. There is also a noticeable amount of body roll. When upgrading to stickier tires, this roll will only get worse. With aFe Control Stage 1 suspension package, you will be able to sharpen steering response and improve initial turn-in. The car will be more agile and feel like a lighter car. Body roll will be dramatically reduced and the 3-way adjustment (front & rear) will allow you to dial in the handling balance that suits your driving style. Our Stage 1 kit combines our sway bars with higher rate lowering springs that drops the center of gravity that will further aid in less roll during transitions.
