The fourth lobe and the added twist, when combined with newly-redesigned air inlet and outlet ports, offers greatly enhanced thermal effciency, higher volumetric capacity, higher operating speeds, a smoother, more effcient flow of air into the engine, and improved noise and vibration characteristics.

An optional feature on the 2015-2017 RS3, ROUSH Heat Extractors are the ultimate addition to the hood of your 2015-2017 Mustang GT, as they add an aggressive touch while remaining fully-functional. The Heat Extractors are molded raw black and help to release heat away from the engine. The material, light-weight TPO and ABS is durable, heat resistant, and impact resistant. ROUSH has used ABS in the making of countless products, proving its quality. As with all ROUSH products, the Heat Extractors are manufactured in-house and were designed using original manufacturer CAD data for superior quality and optimum fit, and come with the necessary hardware and instructions. 2016-2017 MY fitment does not allow for factory turn signal, found in factory extractor, to carry over ROUSH heat extractors are designed to fit the 2015-2017 Mustang GT Hood and require minimal drilling and basic hand tools to install. Other 2015-2017 Mustang hoods may require cutting.

The completely re-designed fascia improves airflow into the engine bay and around the wheels. Using Original CAD data from Ford, ROUSH is able to manufacture parts that require no trimming, cutting or sanding for a perfect fit. This means superior durability, impact and heat resistance as well as factory level fitment. All mounting hardware is included with each kit.The Complete ROUSH Front Fascia Kit includes ROUSH’s High-Flow Upper Grille and Lower opening as well as ROUSH’s Front Chin splitter. The re-designed upper and lower openings help feed more cool air into the engine bay. The Front Chin Splitter creates extra downforce and prevents front end lift at speed. The Side Aero Pockets create a wind curtain for air flow around the front wheels.

The muffler, y-pipe, and inlet/outlet pipes are made from high-grade 304 stainless steel and are mandrel-bent to ensure consistent flow, high performance, and long-lasting durability. Exhaust tips are constructed of high-quality stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability, and are embossed with the ROUSH logo, which exit out of the side of the vehicle. The piping in this system is 3-inch diameter, and mandrel-bent to promote consistent flow throughout. Other companies tend to crimp-bend their exhaust, which can cause restrictions and inconsistent flow.
