COMP Cams Evolution HCT (Hydraulic Cartridge Technology) is a new patented tappet. The Evolution HCT tappet provides most consistent performance of any set of lifters in the aftermarket. A combination of self-contained hydraulic cartridge and accompanying reduced oil volume that is less effected by oil aeration delivers the most consistent bleed rates between each lifter. The smaller volume within the hydraulic cartridge creates one of the most responsive and quietest lifters on the market. Startup noise is greatly reduced and a precision controlled bleed down rate ensure excellent performance at high RPM. The patented cartridge design also allows for an incredibly stiff lifter body, greatly reducing body distortion and further ensuring consistent hydraulic performance. COMP Cams Non-MDS Dodge Gen III HEMI Lifters are available with or without lifter yokes. COMP lifter yokes perfectly align the lifters and are manufactured from a premium material to meet all factory/OEM requirements. One lifter yoke holds four non-MDS HEMI lifters, four yokes needed per engine.

COMP Cams HRT Camshaft Packages for Dodge Gen III HEMI applications take the guesswork out of choosing the right valve train upgrade package for your specific engine and desired performance.
The “Low Shock Technology” behind COMP Cams HRT camshafts features lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher RPM. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. By Spintron and dyno testing these new profiles with many combinations of valve train components, COMP Cams engineers have created valve train packages that are perfectly matched for maximum horsepower and reliability in popular modern HEMI applications. The resulting Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 HRT Camshaft Packages can add up to 170 horsepower (depending on the application) and are available as base Cam Kits (CK-Kit) or the more complete Master Kits (MK-Kit).
CK-Kits include camshaft, phaser limiter (VVT Hemi only), pushrods, Beehive or Conical Valve Springs, chromemoly steel retainers, valve locks, spring seats and valve seals. MK-Kits include everything found in the CK-Kit with the addition of upgraded, drop-in performance lifters.
Best average torque & power of any sub .600″ lift Gen. IV HEMI cam tested. Runs great from 2500-6500 RPM.

As opposed to dual cylindrical spring systems, COMP Cams Dual Conical Valve Springs require no interference fit to dampen spring surge. The self damping characteristic of conical geometry, along with the lower spring kinetic energy of the upper coils, provide a game-changing breakthrough in valve spring design. COMP Cams Dual Conical Valve Springs are constrained at the top and bottom with stepped retainers and spring seats to create separation. The result is that the springs naturally progressive nature can provide outstanding damping without rubbing friction or the associated heat and+D6566 surface damage. These springs are designed for circle track, road Race and drag racing Applications, as well as all-out, high-RPM street/strip hydraulic Roller valve train systems with optimized lifters.

A high lift Cam in a performance street vehicle can offer up great sound and excellent performance. But if your car or truck has power brakes, a minimum of 16 inches of vacuum is critical to proper brake booster operation, something not always present if your Camshaft features enhanced overlap. The COMP Cams Electric Vacuum Pump ensures that your vacuum stays between 18 and 22 inches so you never have to worry whether your brakes will be there when you need them. Triggered by a vacuum switch included in the kit, the COMP Cams Electric Vacuum Pump requires a 12V negative ground system and only operates when vacuum drops below 18 inches of vacuum and then turns off over 22 inches of vacuum. The kit includes all of the parts necessary to install the unit along with wiring, hoses and brackets. The system utilizes a highly efficient electric pump, relay switch and distributor with vacuum switch, which should be mounted close together for the most effective performance.
Our electric vacuum pump kit operates off a 12v negative ground electrical system which ensures that the vacuum for your power brakes never drops below 18 in/hg.
