The Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type R is designed to keep oil temps in check while increasing system capacity, giving enthusiasts the confidence to push their Type R harder and longer. — Our oil cooler kit increases total oil capacity by 12% over stock and features a 19-row stacked plate cooler strategically positioned to receive maximum airflow. This cooler is also thermostatic to help bring oil up to optimal temperature for daily driving, and testing showed 5F cooler oil temperatures compared to stock. — Installation is straightforward with all direct-fit components included.     Add some much-needed durability and cooling power to your M3 or M4 with the Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW M3/M4 Oil Cooler kit. True to form, the BMW engineers designed the M3/M4’s oil cooler with efficient space use in mind. Suspended perpendicular from the rest of the cooling stack, this location utilizes the Bimmer’s aerodynamics in order to cool the oil, all while putting the lightweight, tube-and-fin cooler in harm’s way of road hazards. We here at Mishimoto made sure to beef up the entire oil cooling system design for the F80/82 with our performance oil cooler. We ditched the lightweight design for a full aluminum, TIG-welded bar-and-plate cooler for added strength and cooling. The bars and plates are a much more robust form of heat exchanger core construction intended for improved heat transfer and have the strength to shrug off potential road debris, keeping your oil temps down and where it should be. We also added 10mm to the core’s thickness, equating in a 46-percent increase in core volume, and increased the oil capacity by .4 qt. In addition we wanted to add an extra degree of protection to the system by improving on the lines. From the factory, these vehicles are equipped with unforgiving hardlines that are prone to abrasion and corrosion damage. Our oil cooler kit provides a pair of application-specific, flexible, and robust nylon braided lines for a more secure channel for your M’s oil. Also included are our specially designed adaptors allowing for AN fittings from the S55’s oil pump and a secure connection to the oil cooler.The Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW M3/M4 Oil Cooler Kit fits directly in place of the stock unit, and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a simplified and worry-free installation.

    The 2006-2010 BMW E60 M5 combines the spacious practicality of a four-door sedan with a naturally aspirated V10 powerplant producing a hypnotic soundtrack of intake/exhaust noise. But after over a decade of use, some of the E60’s components have begun to show their age. The factory engine oil cooler is a common leak point on the E60, typically from failed O-rings or cracked weld points. In addition, the location of the front-mounted cooler increases the chance of damage from road debris and general clogging of external fins, resulting in reduced cooling efficiency. That, combined with the high-strung engine and hefty chassis, means oil temperatures tend to rise during aggressive driving. That’s why our engineering team set out to remedy both issues with this performance oil cooler. Drawing on our vast experience with BMW’s and the latest in engineering tools, our team was able to create a direct-fit replacement oil cooler with substantial improvements in both durability and cooling efficiency. The Mishimoto Performance Oil Cooler features a robust bar-and-plate core, which provides improved durability and aids in heat rejection. Our core utilizes a strategic fin design which provides a 41-percent increase in external fin surface area and a 30-percent increase in internal fin surface area to help draw heat out of the oil and dissipate it into the air. Our oil cooler features CNC-machined inlet/outlet ports and includes new OEM O-rings for a seamless and leak-free installation. This cooler is finished in a silver powder coat, ensuring long term durability and corrosion resistance.
