With the KW HLS lift system you can lift your sports car or lowered vehicle to safely negotiate obstacles such as speed bumps, railroad crossings, road construction, garage approaches and underground car parks. Depending on the version of the HLS lift system your vehicle can be hydraulically lifted either at the front axle or at both axles by up to 45 mm. This prevents accidental damage to your aero components, underbody protection or even oil sump. The lift system is availabl e either as a vehicle-specific solution with or as a retrofit for your factory dampers depending on the type of car and the model. • TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound – Adjustable) technology – allows oil to flow passed an adjustable, conical low-speed bypass during slow damper speeds, while at higher speed, the main rebound stage valve opens for maximum fluid displacement.
• TVC-A (Twin Valve Compression – Adjustable) technology – patented compression valve allows fine tuning of low speed. During sudden high piston speeds, the low speed needle and main valve blow-off feature open to maximize flow.
• Composite spring perch made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide composite encompassing a stainless-steel insert. The polyamide composite prevents oxidation while the stainless-steel insert maximizes strength.
• Includes KW HLS4 hydraulic lift system for both axles which increases ground clearance at the push of a button. The vehicle specific HLS system includes a self-contained pump and does not affect ride quality or handling.
