BMW designers poured hours of time into the front end of the G8X M3 and M4, crafting every duct and body line to flow seamlessly with the rest of the car…then your local dealership spent 5 minutes with a drill and four drywall screws attaching the front license plate to the bumper.—-The front of the G80 wasn’t designed for a US front plate. Placing the plate in the center of the bumper obstructs air flow to the radiator while also creating wind resistance. Mounting to the side requires drilling into and ruining your brand-new bumper. Luckily, there’s no need to worry about drilling holes in your new bumper because Mishimoto has a solution—-Designed specifically for the 2021+ BMW G8X M3 and M4, our license plate relocation kit is constructed from high-strength, anodized, and powder coated 6061-aluminum. It mounts directly to the OEM tow hook location, allowing for a clean and seamless installation. We’ve angled the plate to match the lines of the bumper and mounted it securely using the factory tow hook location to improve aerodynamics and allow airflow through the cooling stack. Our license plate relocation kit includes all necessary hardware for an easy installation and, like all our products, this kit includes our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
