Mishimoto Subaru 02-07 WRX/04-07 STi Top-Mount Intercooler Kit – Powder Coated Silver & Blue Hoses

Subaru WRX/STI Top-Mount Intercooler Kit provides a unique option for upgrading your charge air system. This kit utilizes a single entry inlet compared to the stock Y-pipe setup. This unique tank design provides maximum airflow and superior air dispersion through the core, a process which results in optimal AIT reduction. This intercooler uses a high efficiency bar-and-plate core which provides increased volume and improved heat transfer. The kit is completely bolt-on, requiring zero modifications to your vehicle. The Mishimoto intercooler kit includes silicone bypass hoses for both the WRX and STI, a silicone crankcase ventilation hose, a bypass valve gasket, a silicone throttle body hose, and all the T-bolt clamps and hardware necessary for installation. This intercooler kit has endured rigorous testing on both stock and modified vehicles and has proven to increase power and reduce air intake temperatures. On our 305 hp test vehicle running 20-22 psi of boost, this intercooler provided a 14 hp increase and a 30 degree drop in AITs compared to the stock STI intercooler– for more testing details, check out the engineering report! Thanks to a precision engineered and tested core construction, this intercooler will support vehicles with up to 350 hp.     The S55 suffers heavily from heat soak. Many tuners witnessed this early on after doing multiple dyno pulls and seeing significant drops in power after each consecutive pass. Many F8X owners experienced the same loss of power on the track as the engine just could not cool off during laps.     CSF 2020+ Audi SQ7 / SQ8 High Performance Intercooler System – Thermal Black

    The same intercooler cores used in this application are the same style used in other CSF air-to-air systems developed for the Urus/RS Q8/Cayenne Turbo, Audi RS6/RS7, and Porsche 992 Turbo/S, with incredible results. These cores eliminate heat soak and lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) much more efficiently than traditional Bar & Plate designs. This gives us maximum performance for extended periods of time under demanding driving conditions and in vehicles with increased power levels through modifications and tuning. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 in the SQ7/SQ8 starts to experience debilitating heat soak and progressively increasing IATs with the OEM intercoolers. This results in the ECU pulling engine timing and drastically decreasing power output. The CSF by PWR Intercoolers solve this issue and allow vehicles to perform at optimal levels consistently and for prolonged periods of time.
    The CSF by PWR SQ7/SQ8 Twin Intercooler Set features Formula-1 grade cores which offer the greatest reduction in IATs and help eliminate heat soak. The Billet Aluminum construction offers the greatest strength and durability possible.
