The Subaru WRX is a car that begs to be driven at ten-tenths, and as enthusiasts, we’re happy to oblige. At the same time, we know the WRX is capable of much more with a few well-designed upgrades. One upgrade that’s sure to bring your 2022+ WRX to the next level is the Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler. This top mount intercooler lets your FA24 breathe all the cool boost it could ever want.—-The crowning jewel of this kit is our massively upgraded top-mount intercooler and shroud. We’ve completely revamped the plastic end tank intercooler and replaced it with cast-aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core that’s 88 percent larger than stock. The larger core volume allows our intercooler to flow over 40 percent better than stock, taking the strain off your turbo and allowing it to shove more cold air into your engine. We’ve also added 76 percent more fin surface area to the core, allowing it to transfer heat more effectively and keep outlet temps within 10 degrees of ambient. All those improvements would be for not, though, if we didn’t have a way to get cool outside air over the intercooler. To do that, we scaled the intercooler shroud up to expose the entire core to fresh air from the WRX’s signature hood scoop. A pre-drilled, tapped, and plugged 1/8-NPT port allow you to easily add temp or boost pressure sensors.—-This kit includes everything needed for installation, including new shroud hardware. It’s available with in black or silver to match any color scheme and, with our Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, you can drive your WRX at ten-tenths knowing Mishimoto has its and your back.

    CSF designed and engineered the 992 Carrera intercooler to be a true Plug-and-Play “Drop-in Fit” unit. Utilizing all factory mounting points, the installation is straightforward and requires no modifications. The most important feature of the CSF by PWR 992 Carrera Intercooler System is the Formula-1 grade intercooler cores. CSF’s strategic relationship with PWR has allowed the inclusion of these cores, which is unlike any other available in the performance aftermarket. These cores are the same style used in other CSF air-to-air systems previously developed for the 992 Turbo/S and 991 GT2RS with incredible results. The PWR cores eliminate heat soak and lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) much more efficiently than traditional Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin designs. The traditional intercooler cores that are typically much heavier and larger to improve cooling capacity. Because the PWR core is able to achieve greater performance results in a smaller size, CSF was able to design the intercooler system to fit in the stock location using all the OEM hardware, ducts, and shrouds for an easy drop if fit installation.
    The CSF by PWR 992 3.0T Intercooler System features Formula-1 grade cores which offer the greatest reduction in IATs and help eliminate heat soak. The Billet Aluminum construction offers the greatest strength and durability possible.
    The CSF #8217 Cooling product is designed to be a “Drop-In Fit” application. The product will install in the OEM Location with no modifications necessary unless otherwise noted or instructions are included in the product package. Please see the manufacturer repair manual for standard installation instructions. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.

    CSF 04-13 BMW 335i/xi (E90/E91/E92/E93) High Performance Stepped Core Bar/Plate Intercooler – Silver

    The OEM intercooler is made from plastic end tanks that are crimped onto an aluminum tube/fin core that is 4 inches thick (105mm core width) and is 5 inches in height (127mm). This may be enough to keep IAT’s in check on a completely unmodified / stock vehicle, but once users to start increase power through bolt-on modifications, tuning, and built engines, the OEM intercooler will become the Achilles Heel of the system with IAT’s skyrocketing out of the optimal range and drastically lowering the performance capabilities of the vehicle. Enter CSF with their stepped core design, bar/plate high performance N54 intercooler. This “drop-in fit” intercooler, which requires no modifications to install, has a bottom / larger section that is 5.5in thick (140mm) with a front face that is massive 8.25in tall (210mm). Made from CSF’s industry exclusive rounded bar/plate core design. The rounded front face of the cooling bars allows for better airflow into the core. Airflow hits the core surface, and rather than scattering like it does with hitting the face of a flat bar that all competing products have, it travels around the face of the round bar and into core for much better performance than both the OEM design (flat face) and all other aftermarket competitors (all have flat face tubes or bars). A huge improvement over the OEM unit, and enough to handle even the most advanced N54 engine builds. Good for 1000hp no problem!
    The CSF N54 Intercooler’s Stepped Core Design maximizes surface area contact and internal intake air-flow volume. The Rounded Front Face Bar/Plate Design optimizes airflow through the core and is a true “Drop-in Fit” Plug-and-Play Design.

    Mishimoto 2015+ BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler

    BMW has a knack for maintaining their stake as the benchmark when it comes to performance luxury vehicles, with the F8X generation being no exception. The S55 that powers the 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition is dripping with technology, which includes an air-to-water intercooling system for a means of keeping cool. Where BMW’s intercooler design was enough to help bring this generation of mid-sized M’s to their peak, we here at Mishimoto found some weaknesses that we felt obliged to improve on. We started with the end tanks. The Mishimoto Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler features full, cast aluminum end tanks, TIG welded to our bar-and-plate core for maximum durability as you increase the boost in your Bimmer. Our end tanks also include internal air diverters on both the inlet and outlet to ensure an even flow of charged air through the core. When it comes to the core, bigger is better, and we were able to expand the size of our core in all dimensions, resulting in a 29-percent increase in core volume while abstaining from any modifications when it comes to installation. Our new core also features a unique single-pass internal fin layout for the coolant passage for optimal heat transfer from the charged air to the coolant. With our improvements combined, we saw the Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3 and M4 Performance Intercooler increase flow through the core by 16-percent and recorded a 12 F drop in intake air temperatures when tested with the Mishimoto Performance Heat Exchanger. We also recorded an average increase of 11whp and 8wtq during our testing with peak gains of up to 31whp and 10wtq.
