CSF Bar & Plate Intercooler Cores are used by some of the most renowned tuning and performance companies in the industry. This 27″ x 6″ x 3″ Vertical Flow Core is rated for 800 WHP and the perfect fit for your custom high-performance intercooler. Each CSF Intercooler core is pressure tested at 120psi for maximum reliability in extreme boost applications. Hand-Built using jigs & fixtures for a perfectly straight core in a clean room using gloves inside the CSF factory to ensure proper brazing and a clean surface for future welding. Featuring a multi-louvered high precision staggered fin design (for both ambient and pressure sides of the core) for the best heat transfer possible.

The CSF #8068 is a universal cooling product and will require some custom work and/or fabrication to install. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.

    CSF 2014+ BMW M3/M4 (F8X) Top Mount Charge-Air-Cooler – Crinkle Black

    The S55 suffers heavily from heat soak. Many tuners witnessed this early on after doing multiple dyno pulls and seeing significant drops in power after each consecutive pass. Many F8X owners experienced the same loss of power on the track as the engine just could not cool off during laps. The solution is two fold: The Charge-Air-Cooler (CSF #8082/8082R) & Front Mount Heat Exchanger (CSF #8075/8075V) work together to keep the intake temps down and power up. The factory units simply cannot dissipate enough heat to keep up with prolonged performance driving. CSF’s Charge-Air-Cooler boasts a core size that is 60% larger, greatly increasing the capacity for heat transfer from the hot charge air coming from the turbos. Paired with the Front Mount Heat Exchanger the system is able to maintain lower intake temps and keep your BMW F8X’s power up.
    The CSF Charge-Air-Cooler boasts a 60% larger core size than factory, greatly increasing the capacity for heat transfer from the hot charge air. Paired with the CSF Heat Exchanger (CSF #8075) the system is able lower your F8X’s IATs.

    The intercooler cores are spec’d out by CSF and custom built by PWR. Featuring two rows of rolled cooling tubes with inner fins, these cores make for the most efficient intercoolers available. Because of this, they are able to eliminate heat soak and lower IATs much more efficiently than traditional Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin designs. This gives us maximum performance for extended periods of time under demanding driving conditions and for vehicles with increased power levels through modifications and tuning.
    The CSF by PWR Urus/RS Q8 Twin Intercooler Set features Formula-1 grade cores which offer the greatest reduction in IATs and help eliminate heat soak. The Billet Aluminum construction offers the greatest strength and durability possible.
    The CSF #8211R Cooling product is designed to be a “Drop-In Fit” application.
