Mishimoto 03-07 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Pipe and Boot Kit

Mishimoto has developed an intercooler pipe and boot kIt’specifically engineered for use on the 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins.After investigating the pipe routing and size, our engineers identified numerous areas where improvement was necessary.The Mishimoto intercooler pipes are made in the USA and are constructed of mandrel bent aluminum routed in a way that eliminates restrictive bends present in the factory pipes.Along with this we increased the pipe diameter from 3 to 3.5 to provide substantial improvements in power, airflow, and EGTs.Mishimoto DuraCore boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps are also included in this kit.Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots.Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil.This effectively increases the life of our boots by preventing leaks and blowouts.The Mishimoto Dodge 5.9L Cummins intercooler piping and boot kit is designed to work with our performance intercooler and includes the Mishimoto lifetime warranty.

We also reduced the amount of bends on top of increasing the piping diameter to 2.75 inches, together equating to a 30-percent increase in air flow, making these the perfect combination with an aftermarket tune.The Mishimoto MK7 Intercooler Pipe Kit is available in a polished or wrinkle black finish to suit the style of your MK7.     BMW’s M lineup is the benchmark when it comes to performance luxury vehicles. The S55 that powers the 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition is dripping with technology, which includes an air-to-water. Where BMW’s intercooler design was enough to help bring this generation of M’s to their peak, we here at Mishimoto found some weaknesses to address. We started with the end tanks. The Mishimoto intercooler features full, cast aluminum end tanks, TIG-welded to our bar-and-plate core for maximum durability as you increase the boost in your Bimmer. Our end tanks also include internal air diverters on both the inlet and outlet to ensure an even flow of charged air through the core. When it comes to the core, bigger is better, and we were able to expand the size of our core in all dimensions, resulting in a 29% increase in core volume while abstaining from any modifications when it comes to the installation. Our new core also features a unique single-pass internal fin layout for the coolant passage for optimal heat transfer from the charged air to the coolant. With our improvements combined, we saw the Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3 and M4 Performance Intercooler increase flow through the core by 16% and recorded a 12°F drop in intake air temperatures when tested with the Mishimoto Performance Heat Exchanger. We also recorded an average increase of 11 whp and 8 wtq during our testing with peak gains of up to 31 whp and 10 wtq.
