All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT’s 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high quality, ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. With the 6-pad rigid race disc, engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. The 6-pad rigid race disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.

170% Increase in Holding Capacity – RACE/STREETThe FX400 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with a custom and extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration. The 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.
