BM15-HDSD kit features ACT’s most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. The ACT performance street rigid-hub discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. Rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength. These discs are the minimum weight street disc for faster shifts. ACT’s street rigid-hub discs provide race-proven performance with street manageability.

110% Increase in Holding Capacity – STREET/RACEThe FX350 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate utilizing our Fiber-Tough friction material. This clutch has a slightly increased holding capacity then the FX300 but will have a slightly more aggressive engagement and will produce some chatter. Similar to the FX300 this clutch is designed for the serious street enthusiast who also might spend a weekend and the track and is running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2. For years enthusiasts have had to compromise durability for longevity for drivability and vice versa, however with our Fiber-Tough material we have closed the gap between these two tradeoffs.

110% Increased Holding CapacityThe FX250 System uses the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate and utilizes a combination of our Fiber Tough friction material on the side of the disc contacting the pressure plate, and steel backed organic friction material on the flywheel side of the disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast or weekend racer who plans to abuse their vehicle on an occasional basis and has a very spirited driving style. The FX250 clutch system has a higher holding capacity than a traditional full faced kevlar without compromising the street friendly characteristics exhibited in the FX100 and FX200 series.
