The Track Edition Exhaust takes the engineered design of the Touring Edition Exhaust and replaces the AWE 180 Technology® resonators with straight pipe sections, delivering an even bigger dose of 4.0T attitude. This system is known to get rowdy in the mid-range, and may be a bit much for many. For that reason, this system can’t be returned due to sound (this system’s about commitment). However, the Track Edition Exhaust *can* be converted at a later date to a Touring Edition Exhaust (or vice versa). All systems are finished off with AWE’s quad slash-cut 102mm tips, including the AWE logo, and double walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. AWE Electronic Valve Simulators are sold separately – but here’s why you might want them: When valves are removed, the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. The Mach Force XP cat-back exhaust system produces 11 hp and 10 lbs./ft. of torque. constructed from 2.75 in. mandrel bent 304 hand brushed stainless steel and utilizes a unique crossover pipe that helps to equalize exhaust pressure and tunes the exhaust pulse. Comes with dual 3.5 in. polished 304 stainless steel tips and muffler to build a mellow yet powerful sound. Engineered and manufactured in our Corona Ca manufacturing facility. All systems use factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation. High quality band clamps are used for a complete 360 deg. sealing surface. A free flowing muffler is used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque. The crossover balance tube equalizes and evenly distributes exhaust pulses traveling through the exhaust system. This not only creates more efficient flow and better performance it also reduces sound decibels ultimately minimizing exhaust drone.
