aFe 19-24 BMW Z4 M40i (G29) B58 Turbo MACH Force-Xp 3in to 2-1/2in SS CB Exhaust System – Carbon

This cat-back exhaust system is constructed of 3″ – 2-1/2″ mandrel-bent brushed finished 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum strength and durability. This system features a high-flow 304 stainless steel muffler, producing a powerful sound. Finishing off this exhaust system are quad 3-1/2″ diameter carbon fiber 304 stainless steel clamp-on exhaust tips. The tips features an aFe POWER logo for a unique style. This system produces a powerful sound unleashing all available horsepower and torque. Utilizing factory style hangers this system is a direct bolt-on system, which requires no cutting or modifications for a hassle-free installation. This cat-back exhaust system incorporates a factory style exhaust valves which use the factory exhaust valve motors (not included). The valves help regulate, direct and control the flow of exhaust gases by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways depending on throttle position for maximum performance. A mitered merge collector is used to decrease turbulence and increase exhaust velocity resulting in increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. Utilizing state-of-the-art computer-aided design technology, this exhaust system is designed for custom, high tolerance factory fitment. 100% TIG-Welded for race-proven strength and durability.

    The Track Edition Exhaust takes the engineered design of the Touring Edition Exhaust and replaces the AWE 180 Technology® resonators with straight pipe sections, delivering an even bigger dose of 4.0T attitude. This system is known to get rowdy in the mid-range, and may be a bit much for many. For that reason, this system can’t be returned due to sound (this system’s about commitment). However, the Track Edition Exhaust *can* be converted at a later date to a Touring Edition Exhaust (or vice versa). All systems are finished off with AWE’s quad slash-cut 102mm tips, including the AWE logo, and double walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. AWE Electronic Valve Simulators are sold separately – but here’s why you might want them: When valves are removed, the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. That simple. Comes as a set of two. This exhaust is for those who like to take it up a notch… and leave it there.
