GFB Diverter Valve DV+ 2022+ Subaru WRX

The FA24 engine in the 2022+ WRX now uses an electronically controlled factory diverter in place of the pneumatic bypass valve found on all previous turbo Subaru engines. This is controlled by the ECU, and whilst it sounds like an advancement in technology, in some ways it is a step backwards. It may react to throttle closures faster than a pneumatic valve, but longevity and boost sealing is an issue with these types of valve because their valve mechanism is made entirely of moulded plastic. Importantly though, the factory electronic valve cannot open and close progressively – it’s either open or shut, resulting in less than optimum throttle response and drivability. The DV+ design solves all the shortcomings of the factory electronic diverter valve, replacing the plastic valve assembly with precision CNC machined metal components, and also changes the operation method so it can open and close progressively wilst retaining electronic control. This ensures ultimate boost holding and durability, and the best possible throttle response.
Performance Diverter Valve , this valve has:
SHARPER THROTTLE RESPONSE
• FASTER BOOST RECOVERY ON GEARSHIFT
• SOLVES BOOST LEAKING ISSUES
• BUILT TO LAST

  • 10% FASTER OPENING, 50% FASTER CLOSING THAN THE FACTORY DIVERTER
    • RETAINS THE FACTORY SOLENOID FOR SEAMLESS INTEGRATION
    • REPLACES PLASTIC VALVE PARTS WITH METAL FOR RELIABILITY AND STRENGTH ON STOCK OR MODIFIED ENGINES
  • • DIRECT-FIT REPLACEMENT WITH GFB’S TMS BENEFITS
    • EXCLUSIVE “PILOT-ACTUATED” VALVE MECHANISM FOR RAPID RESPONSE AT HIGH BOOST
  • Solves boost leaking and reliability issues, whilst improving throttle response.
