Please note: These versions are known to get rowdy, and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Prepare yourself! We’ve engineered the AWE Exhaust Suite for the M5 as a completely modular configuration that allows you to do just that, at any time. Keep in mind, the Performance Mid Pipes or an Axle Back alone will require cutting, where the full Cat Back experience will bolt right up. AWE’s signature 4″ double walled slash-cut tips finish it off — all individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. The Mach Force XP cat-back exhaust system produces 11 hp and 10 lbs./ft. of torque. constructed from 2.75 in. mandrel bent 304 hand brushed stainless steel and utilizes a unique crossover pipe that helps to equalize exhaust pressure and tunes the exhaust pulse. Comes with dual 3.5 in. polished 304 stainless steel tips and muffler to build a mellow yet powerful sound. Engineered and manufactured in our Corona Ca manufacturing facility. All systems use factory mounting locations providing stability a nd hassle-free installation. High quality band clamps are used for a complete 360 deg. sealing surface. A free flowing muffler is used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque. The crossover balance tube equalizes and evenly distributes exhaust pulses traveling through the exhaust system. This not only creates more efficient flow and better performance it also reduces sound decibels ultimately minimizing exhaust drone.

Made in the USA, AWE axle back exhausts are handcrafted from US-sourced T304L stainless steel, and come with a fitment guarantee, a no Check Engine Light guarantee, and a Lifetime Warranty. Complete with your choice of Diamond Black or Chrome Silver double-walled 80mm tips. IMPORTANT NOTE: Quad tip configurations are only available for the 3/428i. If you are opting for the quad-tip option, be sure to also purchase the quad-tip marking template.

In axle-back form, the SwitchPath™ retains the M5’s factory mid-section, coming in right at the rear axle. The AWE SwitchPath™ Axle Back Exhaust maintains a 3” diameter, shaves weight from the rear, and retains the factory valve behavior. Available separately are the AWE Performance Mid Pipes to replace the factory mid section with a 3” stainless steel X-pipe, mating to the factory Axle Back (or AWE Axle Back, to make a full cat back). And if you’re not ready to do the mid-pipes, no sweat – AWE engineered the Exhaust Suite for the M5 as a completely modular configuration that allows you to do just that, at any time. Simply add the desired configuration to your cart, and roar away. All tip options are AWE’s 4″ slash-cut design, and include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.Important fitment notes: If you’re equipping the Performance Mid Pipes or an Axle Back, cutting will be required. The Performance Mid Pipes + Axle Back installed together will not require cutting.
