The TTE850M+ is TheTurboEngineers’ advanced upgrade turbocharger package developed specifically for BMW S63 and S63TU platforms, including models powered by the renowned BMW S63 engine. Designed to deliver exceptional power output while maintaining rapid response and long-term durability, this upgrade represents a significant step beyond OEM performance.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
Each TTE850M+ turbocharger begins as a carefully selected original unit, comprehensively re-engineered to achieve superior airflow, efficiency, and strength.
Key enhancements include:

Billet Compressor Upgrade: The original compressor wheel is replaced with a substantially larger, high-efficiency billet compressor featuring extended tip technology. The compressor cover is precision CNC-machined to achieve optimal clearance, perfectly matching the new compressor profile for maximum efficiency and performance.

Upgraded Turbine System: The factory turbines are replaced with proprietary TTE 9-blade turbines. The turbine housing is CNC-machined to accommodate the larger turbine geometry, significantly increasing exhaust gas flow capacity.

Enhanced Bearing System: The original thrust bearing is upgraded to a TTE high-performance bearing pack, engineered to withstand elevated boost pressures and extreme operating conditions.
TTE 9-Blade Turbine Technology
The TTE 9-blade turbine is a proprietary design developed by TheTurboEngineers to optimize both performance and reliability.

Precision Balancing – Ultimate Equilibrium
Precision balancing is fundamental to every TTE turbocharger. Performance, durability, and acoustic refinement all depend on achieving perfect equilibrium.
The balancing process includes:

Component-Level Balancing: Individual parts are balanced at low speeds (up to 2,800 RPM) across multiple planes using specialized single-part balancing equipment.

High-Speed Dynamic Balancing (VSR): Once assembled, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) undergoes dynamic balancing at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM using TTE’s in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) machine. This ensures balance tolerances significantly exceeding OEM standards.
Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, certifying its quality and precision.
