The TTE700 is a high-performance upgrade derived from the original RS3 8V.2 / TTRS 8S turbocharger, meticulously re-engineered by The Turbo Engineers (TTE) to deliver exceptional power while remaining fully plug-and-play with an upgraded inlet.

To achieve the TTE700’s remarkable performance, the stock compressor wheel is replaced with a TTE-milled aluminum wheel featuring state-of-the-art geometry and a 7+7 blade design, significantly larger than the original for increased airflow and power output. The original exhaust turbine is replaced with a lightweight 9-blade TTE-designed turbine, engineered to reduce exhaust gas backpressure and maximize performance. Additionally, a TTE motorsport upgrade bearing system is fitted to ensure long-term durability and reliability. Boost response is a primary focus in the design of this unit, delivering a dynamic and immediate throttle response.

When ordering a new TTE700, the unit is built from the latest-generation BorgWarner turbocharger cores, complemented by Audi-spec thermal heat isolation shielding on the exhaust manifold and turbine housing. This reduces engine bay temperatures and ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability.

Precision Equilibrium

Achieving perfect balance is critical to transforming an OEM turbocharger into a TTE upgrade unit, where both longevity and performance are paramount. Precision balancing also enhances acoustics.

Every TTE turbocharger undergoes a multi-stage balancing process:

1. Individual components are balanced at low speeds (up to 2,800 RPM) across multiple planes using a dedicated single-parts balancing machine.

2. After assembly, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at up to 250,000 RPM (depending on application) using our in-house VSR machine, ensuring ultimate equilibrium to standards far exceeding OEM requirements.

3. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, guaranteeing quality and performance.
