The TTE700 performance turbocharger is engineered from the original EA855 DAZA platform and upgraded to a significantly higher output specification, enabling compatibility with earlier-generation vehicles. This advanced turbo system supports performance levels exceeding 600 PS on pump petrol, making it an ideal solution for high-performance builds seeking reliability and efficiency.

Engineering & Design

At the heart of the TTE700 is an enlarged, high-efficiency TTE billet compressor wheel, selected for its exceptional airflow characteristics relative to size. The compressor cover is precision re-profiled to optimized tolerances, maximizing aerodynamic efficiency and overall performance.

The exhaust turbine housing is CNC-machined to accommodate a larger turbine and shaft assembly, ensuring increased flow capacity while maintaining structural integrity under high load conditions.

A specially profiled 360-degree motorsport-grade journal bearing system is installed to provide superior durability at elevated boost pressures without compromising transient response. The unit retains a sprung OE actuator for consistent and dependable boost control.

For new units, the latest-generation original BorgWarner turbocharger cores are utilized, complete with updated Audi-spec thermal shielding on the exhaust manifold and turbine housing. This reduces engine-bay temperatures, enhancing both performance stability and operational safety.

Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance

Balancing precision is a critical factor in every TTE upgrade turbocharger, directly influencing longevity, acoustics, and performance. Each component is first balanced individually at speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes. After assembly, the CHRA undergoes dynamic balancing at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR system.

This multi-stage process achieves balance tolerances exceeding OEM standards. Every turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, ensuring traceable quality and performance verification.
