The TTE1140 represents the pinnacle of S58 hybrid turbocharger development, evolved directly from the race-proven TTE940 Stage. Designed for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance, these units deliver unmatched power potential while maintaining plug-and-play simplicity.
Advanced Turbocharger Engineering
Each TTE1140 turbo begins with the removal of the OEM compressors. These are replaced with larger, high-efficiency billet compressor wheels, while the compressor covers are precision-milled to optimal tolerances to match the new wheel profile. On the turbine side, TTE 9-blade low-mass turbines are installed to maximize exhaust flow, reduce backpressure, and lower exhaust gas temperatures under high boost conditions. The upgraded bearing pack enhances durability and ensures consistent performance under extreme conditions.
Turbo Inlets
TTE provides dedicated upgrade turbo inlet intakes, designed for seamless integration with either the OEM air intake system or aftermarket solutions like EVENTURI, enabling unrestricted airflow and simplified installation.
Precision Balance & Longevity
Achieving perfect equilibrium is critical for both performance and longevity. Each turbocharger undergoes a multi-stage balancing process:

Component Balancing – Individual parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using specialized single-part machinery.

Dynamic CHRA Balancing – Once assembled, the CHRA is dynamically balanced up to 250,000 RPM (depending on application) in multiple planes using TTE’s in-house VSR machine, achieving precision far beyond OEM standards.
This meticulous process ensures optimal acoustics, maximum reliability, and peak performance. Each TTE1140 turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test document, guaranteeing quality and traceable performance.
