The TTE IS38 Race Turbocharger is engineered on the proven IS38 platform for the EA888.3 2.0 TSI VAG engine, delivering exceptional performance and reliability for Stage 1 and Stage 2 software calibrations from all leading providers.

This high-performance unit features a TTE upgrade bearing pack and a motorsport-balanced core, built using the genuine IHI IS38 compressor wheel, IHI turbine, and IHI bearing housing. The turbo is designed to handle higher boost levels reliably while maintaining OEM-level durability.

Included with the TTE IS38 Race is our CNC silencer delete, which replaces the factory baffle with a billet straight-through section. This upgrade enhances airflow and delivers a more aggressive turbo sound without compromising performance.

Installation is straightforward

TTE IS38 Race is a direct swap for the standard IS38. No remap or special calibration is required beyond the existing IS38 software.

Precision balancing

Precision balancing is a critical factor in the performance and longevity of the TTE IS38 Race. Each component undergoes a meticulous multi-stage balancing process:

1. Individual part balancing at slow speeds (up to 2,800 RPM) in multiple planes.

2. CHRA assembly followed by dynamic balancing at application-specific speeds up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR machine.
