In 2003. Ford developed a specific tank for the 03 and 04 Mustang Cobras. This tank looked like a normal tank from the outside, but featured one of the finest internal baffling systems we?ve seen from an OE tank to date. In late 2011, Ford decided to discontinue these tanks. At Aeromotive, we saw an opportunity to reproduce these tanks. Not only can we offer reproduction 03-04 Cobra tanks, but we can also modify the tooling in the production process to offer this same tank to fit all Fox Body Mustangs. And that is exactly what we did. But we took it one step further. We built specific A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps that bolt right into top of these tanks. Then, we built a complete system to make it one part number that gives you everything you could possibly need to install a complete Aeromotive Fuel System into your Fox Body. These Fox Body Stealth tanks give you the best performance possible from a stock appearing tank, and our proven A1000 or Eliminator fuel pumps built right into the tank. Choose from either pump and you can now bolt in a fuel tank into your Fox that appears stock, but features an innovative baffling system, a built in fuel pump capable of supporting almost any HP demand and a pre-pump filter. These tanks and systems are a direct bolt-in for 1986 to 1998 ? Ford Mustangs. Although the Fox Body began in 1979 and carried all the way through 2004, some modifications are necessary for these system to be direct bolt-ins. See notes below on year specifications. The 3.5 Brushless Gear pump provides the Pro-Series Fuel Pump performance the world has come to trust and depend on, now available with the latest Spur-Gear pumping mechanism and brushless-motor technology. Built for up to 90 psi of sustained pressure, this new pump supports Pro-Series flow at higher pressures with minimal drop in flow. This new brushless spur-gear pump is able to move more fuel and sustain higher pressures without failure. ORB-12 inlet and ORB-10 outlet ports. For EFI applications use regulator P/N 13134 or P/N 13305. For carbureted applications use regulator P/N 13202 or P/N 13212. Capable of 90-PSI continuous operating pressure, 150 PSI peak pressure, base plus boost. Perfect for ?blow-through? carbureted engines up to 2,000 FWHP. Brushless motors employ sensors to monitor rotor angle to provide faster and more reliable phase shifting, producing more torque capacity and motor efficiency. Instead of the armature rotating, in a brushless motor the magnets rotate around the armature and the motor controller manages the phase shift to keep the motor rotating under load (load is related to pressure in a fuel pump).? With more torque per watt and a higher torque to weight ratio, brushless motors produce lower noise and deliver higher reliability. With a higher level of efficiency, down to fractions of a second in design speed control, the new Aeromotive brushless fuel pumps provide precise control of fuel pump RPM as pressure rises, better maintaining pump RPM and flow, producing a flatter flow curve.? Tight tolerances result in less current draw, less heat and extended life. Now there is the ability to upgrade to a premium brushless pump for faster, more reliable and uninterrupted fuel delivery with less power consumption and potential for wear or failure.

The Aeromotive diesel lift pump was developed to solve some key issues in the diesel lift pump market, most notably the ? tank issue, the pressure control issue, and motor shaft seal failures. Aeromotive opted for a flow-thru design to solve the shaft seal failure, which means there is no shaft seal to fail or leak. Specific to the Duramax platform is a fail safe valve. In the event of failure or a no-run condition, the valve will open and allow fuel to bypass the pump. This allows the vehicle to continue to run and get you to your destination, eliminating tow bills. With a brushless motor design, Aeromotive has increased the performance and longevity you would expect from a diesel lift pump. A single filter model simplifies the design and reduces maintenance cost. Our diesel pump includes the Caterpillar 1R-0750 2-micron filter to catch the smallest particulates. With a standard 1-14 filter head thread, the end user can use their filter of choice.
