It is designed to capture the coolest, freshest air from behind the front grille, to ensure increased air velocity into your air intake system. This Dynamic Air Scoop guides cool ambient air from outside the vehicle directly into your intake system. The cool dense air allows your vehicle to run more efficiently, increasing performance. This D.A.S. is constructed from high-quality linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) that is impact resistant, extremely durable, and 100% recyclable. The D.A.S. will be visible behind the front grille, but will blend in seamlessly due to the black color. The 56-70005S Dynamic Air Scoop fits the factory systems, as well as Takedaa**s Momentum 56-70005 and Stage-2 56-10005 intakes. This part easily screws into the radiator support and requires no modification to your vehicle. Installation requires the removal of the front bumper.

In 2020, Porsche created a recall to add a heat shield in the engine compartment under the air box. The heat shield is to prevent foreign objects left in the engine compartment to make contact with hot exhaust system components and ignite. aFe POWER housing will currently not fit with the heat shield added after the recall. aFe POWER is working on making an update to the housing to allow fitment with this heat shield
