Now available for internal combustion engines! The AEM EV PDU-8 is an eight channel Power Distribution Unit expansion device that gives you the power to program and control various switched devices using our ECU/VCUs, like high-voltage contactors, cooling fans, headlights, brake lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, fuel pumps, and more. The ability to connect up to eight PDU-8s (four on AEM Dashes, and one on Infinity ECU’s) on the same CAN bus network lets installers mount the individual PDUs closer to the subsystems they are controlling, which simplifies wiring, reduces weight, and increases reliability. This CAN-based solid-state control module eliminates the need to install fuses and relays for the switched functions that it operates. The PDU-8 can easily be controlled by other CAN based controllers that support custom CAN settings, such as Motec, Link, FuelTech, Haltech, etc. Does work with Holley EFI if using the AEM dash display for logic based control.

AEM EV’s Tesla Inverter Control Board acts as a VCU expansion device that replaces the stock Tesla ICB. Once connected to an AEM VCU using the supplied communications harness, calibrators can program propulsion strategies and characterize inputs through the VCU using AEMcal software. AEM EV’s LDU ICB was co-developed with Cascadia Motion, an industry leader in EV propulsion systems, to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Programmable Control for EV Swaps Using Tesla Model S and Model X “P” Large Drive Units (LDUs) when paired with AEM Vehicle Control Units (VCU)
· Full control of torque curves, torque limits, regenerative braking, accelerator pedal response, drive-mode switches, and much more.
· Works with Tesla Model S or Model X Base Large Drive Unit (LDU)
AEM EV Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) are the missing link for high-performance EV street-conversion and motorsports applications. They allow the calibrator to create customized torque management strategies applicable to a wide range of EV systems and component combinations. They integrate EV systems and unify the tuning experience providing motorsports- and conversion-ready features presented in a high feature, modern and customizable interface. Be In Control with AEM EV.
