Measuring your turbo size DEI Turbo shield sizes are based on two basic measurements. The first measurement is the circumference of the turbo not including the flange. The second measurement is the width of the turbo at it’s widest point not including the flanges. After measuring, refer to the chart below to find the correct shield. Our T22 and T25/28 shields are designed for use on internally gated housings. They will have a cutout in the wastegate area to allow for a tight fitment. Oil filters soak in a lot of heat from high performance engines. They are nestled tight to the oil pan and engine. DEI’s Oil Filter Heat Shield effectively blocks radiant heat that can change the oils viscosity or potentially cause a thermal breakdown that will make the oil additives degrade, dissipate, and wear out quickly. Oil Cover Filters are easy to install due to their peel and stick adhesive backing. They block heat and reduce oil temps. Universal trim to fit size works on all oil filters and come in a 3 pack.
