    Don’t be fooled by other high-performance aftermarket options that utilize the OEM plastic rock guard. The OEM rock guard’s vertical channel design is specifically designed to only work with the tube spacing found on the OEM core. When the OEM rock guard is installed on an aftermarket radiator, it actually blocks a significant amount of surface area. Obviously this is detrimental to the intended performance. During CSF’s own R&D phase, CSF analyzed both the OEM and other aftermarket offerings and decided to go the extra mile. CSF redesigned the included rock guard to allow maximum flow to the radiator core, while still offering ample protection from small rocks and road debris – all proven on CSF’s in-house wind tunnel. CSF’s new Auxiliary Radiator fits both the left and right side of the vehicle as a drop-in fit. Thus requiring no modifications to install. Each features CNC machined mounting brackets and OEM style “Quick Connect” inlet/outlet connections. This makes for a true plug-and-play installation that does not interfere with aftermarket performance aero modifications.

So when it comes to keeping your engine cool and your E9X/E8X running at its best, a CSF High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator is the obvious choice. Designed to perform on the street or at the track, a performance radiator is a must-have for both high horsepower builds as well as race vehicles which need added cooling performance in motorsports environments. This radiator features a 2-Row core with CSF’s exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike a regular oval shape “O” type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in the shape of a “B”. These “B-tubes” are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal “O” shape tubes that are welded. The design (inlet in the middle of the tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% over regular tubes – producing the efficiency of two smaller tubes vs. one large tube within the same space criteria. With “B-tubes” you are able to get “dual liquid laminar flow”. CSF also uses ultra efficient multi louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core.     The 2-Row 42mm aluminum core not only increases the fluid capacity of the radiator, but also improves the cores ability to dissipate heat. CSF’s Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. End tanks are made from high grade aluminum and TIG welded to the core for extra strength. In contrast, the OEM crimped onto plastic end tank design is much weaker and creates a weak point where failure is more likely. Because the CSF radiator is designed as a true plug-and-play drop-in fit application, installation requires absolutely no modifications, trimming, or cutting. CSF even includes pre-cut double sided adhesive foam strips to help seal the fan shroud against the radiator. This improves airflow efficiency off the fan. Additionally, the radiator features a built-in transmission oil cooler. The transmission cooler is a heavy-duty high-performance 5 plate design that connects to the OEM hoses. The upgraded built in cooler is great dealing with the added heat and stress from towing, low gear crawling, and vehicles equipped with oversized tires. While many understand the impacts of oversized tires, it is always good to provide extra incite. By increasing the diameter of your tires, you are reducing the effective gear ratio. This means the engine and transmission have to work harder to move the tires. Obviously this will end up generating excess heat, but the CSF radiator is designed to handle it.

    CSF originally designed the BMW S63 Charge-Air-Coolers for the F9X M5/M6. Over five hundred of these Intercoolers kits have been sold with many of them on 1000+ hp builds. Due to their popularity and success, CSF has received many requests to have a set made to fit the X5M and X6M. CSF worked with Steve Dinan’s Carbahn to develop the mounting hardware needed to use these coolers. The result – a true plug-and-play system requiring no modifications to install that will take your M SUV to a whole new level.
    The CSF Charge-Air-Coolers boast a nearly 100% larger core size than factory per side. This greatly increases the capacity for heat transfer from the hot charge air from your F95 X5M / F96 X6M / G09 XM’s Turbos.
    The CSF #8315 Cooling product is designed to be a “Drop-In Fit” application.
