    Every Clutch Masters flywheel is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA. Flywheels are first designed in CAD and are then precision CNC machined in house in one of or Haas CNC lathes out of 6061 aluminum or 1045 steel billet cores. After machining, the flywheel is zero balanced to ensure it is evenly weighted on all sides and spins 100% true. Each aluminum flywheel is Type 3 Hard Anodized for the ultimate in durability and protection of the aluminum. All steel flywheels are black oxide coated to add a layer of rust prevention and gives our steel flywheels a unique black finish. The flywheel is then assembled by a Clutch Master Craftsman, double checked for imperfections and tolerances, and is then ready to be paired with your OEM clutch kit or one of our FX100-FX500 single disc clutch kits or twin disc options. All flywheels are SFI 1.2 Certified for use in motorsports.

    Well what do ya know, Toyota actually listened to everyone and released the MK5 Supra with a manual transmission! What they apparently missed however, was the fact that people are already pushing the B58 engine to the limit and making some incredible power. They equipped the car with a single disc clutch and a chunky dual mass flywheel. Well, Clutch Masters to the rescue! When you’re pushing the limits of your Supra, you’re going to need all the holding power you can get. It’s proven these B58 engines are very potent, and capable of big power. That is where our 1000 Series Twin Disc Clutch Kit saves the day.

    We designed an OE style clutch cover that is made of billet aluminum to take a typical single disc clutch kit to that next level of performance. From the get go our engineers sat down to develop a clutch kit that was street friendly, allowed for faster shifts, lighter rotating mass, and the consistent pedal feel you expect from a clutch on the track. To accomplish this we took everything we’ve learned from decades of perfecting our Twin Disc clutch kits and designed it around the fitment of an OE style clutch cover. We are dubbing this line of clutch kits, our Short Shift series. In the Supra application, we are using the diaphragm from our 850 Series Twin Disc. By doing this we’ve created something we feel is perfect for those enthusiasts that want every last bit of performance they can eke out of their car. The Short Shift series of clutch kits are perfect for the daily driven street car as well as a dedicated race car that doesn’t quite make the power to necessitate a twin disc (although a 1000 Series Twin Disc is available as well)

    • Will fit stock single disc dual mass flywheel if ordered with a rigid hub instead of sprung. (We highly suggest using our lightweight steel or aluminum flywheel with our sprung hub clutch kits)
    • Works with factory hydraulics (For best results we recommend our internal hydraulic release bearing and master cylinder upgrades)
    • Modified pivot point on steel casting makes pedal feel minimally heavier then a stock clutch.
    • Heavier diaphragm allows more clamping force to be obtained

  • Clutch Masters 2023 Toyota Supra MK5 3.0L Turbo 6-Speed Internal Hydraulic Release Bearing

    Our internal hydraulic release bearing is a complete bolt in setup that bolts up where the factory quill does and replaces the OE throwout bearing, clutch fork and slave cylinder. This bearing is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and is then Type III hard anodized to make sure it withstands the rigors of what the part goes through when in the car. Included is a new high end, high speed precision roller bearing as well as replacement stainless steel lines to make this a simple bolt in affair.

    The Clutch Masters Factory Fit FX350 Series Twin Discs kit for the 2021+ BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4 with the amazing S58 engine and a 6-Speed manual transmission was developed to bridge the gap between replacing the comfortable driving twin disc that came in these cars from the factory and one of our more race orientated 725, 850 or 1000 Series twin disc kits. As OE auto manufactures continue to push for more and more power, they are typically equipping those cars lucky enough to be outfitted with a manual transmission with a twin disc clutch. But what happens when the factory clutch starts to wear out or slip because you’ve modified and tuned the car? Lots of owners of these higher end powerful cars still want to maintain a car that is easy to drive on the street, yet still be able reliably take the abuse they inevitably want to throw at it. Most aren’t looking to go full race car and install a twin disc designed for such use, there has to be a compromise.
