Whiteline KTA383 for the BMW F22 2-Series and F3X 3/4-Series is a set of 4 complete arms to solve any front end issues you may have. Due to the high performance of many BMW models, the original rubber tension strut arm bushings tend to take a beating and have a limited service life. In addition many owners will lower their BMW with a lowering kit or coilovers and may have a front end geometry issue that needs correcting.
For ease of fitment these new alloy tension arms also come complete with sealed ball joint ends and adjustable synthetic elastomer bushings. These facilitate +/- 0.5 deg caster adjustment for improved straight-line stability, enhanced steering feel, and stronger front-end grip on corner entry.
The F8X M car upgraded front control arms feature sealed inner bearings to provide superior precision, durability, and reduced deflection under load. They add a fixed 0.5 deg negative camber by pushing the bottom of the wheel outward and weight slightly less than the stock F22/F3X control arms. Subaru’s rear subframe is mounted on rubber voided bushings which allows for a significant amount of compliance/movement in the frame during high cornering loads. Whiteline’s low compliance polymer bushings eliminate this condition by positively locking in the frame position and removing the ‘lateral walking’ found when using high grip tires. The polymer bushing design has soft ‘stand-off’ buffers on the top and bottom surfaces of the bushing to allow slight vertical bushing movement of the subframe to eliminate that ‘rock-solid’ NVH feel and cushion against minor bumps and allow solid positive location when high torque and power is applied.
