    Skunk2’s cutting-edge Composite Fuel Rail for the Evo VIII-IX is here. Skunk2’s Composite Fuel Rails are made using a proprietary carbon-impregnated, aerospace thermo-polymer composite—a material that’s 33-percent lighter, 60-percent stronger, and operates up to 100-degrees F cooler when compared to aluminum and insulates fuel from both radiant and conductive heat transfer underneath the hood, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Composite Fuel Rails also feature large 0.625- in. internal bores for superior fuel injector pulsation dampening, are machined with a smooth interior finish, and feature radius-cut fuel injector outlets for improved flow characteristics. The special design that eliminates the sharp internal angles where the main bore meets the fuel injector bores inherent with conventional extruded- and drilled-aluminum designs can only be achieved with such composite materials. Skunk2’s Evo Composite Fuel Rails are compatible with the factory fuel system, as well as all fuels, including alcohol, and can support up to 1,200 hp.

    More than a decade ago, Skunk2s engineers revolutionized Honda performance by creating the first-ever, high-flow, cast aluminum intake manifold. Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s H-series features a larger plenum and oversized runners when compared to the OEM version for maximum horsepower and torque gains. Instead of producing a manifold with a significantly oversized plenum and excessively short runners that would sacrifice mid-range power, the Pro Series manifold was designed for the ‘street enthusiast’ who wants more power but doesn’t want to sacrifice mid-range performance to get it. The results are improved airflow, an enhanced venturi effect, and both mid-range and top-end power gains. Skunk2’s cast-aluminum Pro Series Intake Manifolds for Honda’s H-series engines are a direct-fit replacement for all H-series engines and are compatible with all factory sensors. Pro Series Intake Manifolds offer horsepower and torque gains greater than competitors’ manifolds but without compromising mid-range power output. The design incorporates specially tapered runners as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end power gains. Each kit includes Skunk2’s redesigned, low-deflection, polyurethane bushings for ultimate control and performance. Genuine Skunk2 polyurethane bushings act as bearings for quicker response and a more positive feel when compared to other manufacturers bushings. Tearing and unseating problems normally associated with other fixed rubber bushings are eliminated by allowing the arm to rotate freely about the bushings.
