Whiteline KTA287 for the BMW M2, M3 and M4 Series is a set of 4 complete arms to solve any front end issues you may have. Due to the high performance of many BMW models, the original rubber tension strut arm bushings tend to take a beating and have a limited service life. In addition many owners will lower their BMW with a lowering kit or coilovers and may have a front end geometry issue that needs correcting.

For ease of fitment these new alloy tension arms also come complete with sealed ball joint ends and adjustable synthetic elastomer bushings. These facilitate +/- 0.5 deg caster adjustment for improved straight-line stability, enhanced steering feel, and stronger front-end grip on corner entry.

The front control arms feature sealed inner bearings to provide superior precision, durability, and reduced deflection under load. High strength ball joints are included with the arms to make this a fit and forget purchase compared to the short service life of the cheaper aftermarket alternatives.

Heavy duty adjustable alloy rear lower front control arms designed to allow for increased range with easy on-car toe adjustment. Low compliance bushings are used to minimise NVH and maximise longevity.

Making up press tools and damaging arms are just two of the problems one can endure. These Whiteline front lower control arms feature significant geometry gains with -1.0deg camber and +0.75deg caster improvements into these arms to optimise wheel alignments settings for track performance. Caster increases dynamic negative camber on the outside wheel whilst turning, offering more grip without introducing the tyre wear associated with static negative camber. Furthermore the increase in caster improves traction and increases the self-centring effect of the steering. Throw this altogether and the small change in additional caster improves the front-end grip and handling considerably. Whiteline’s rear mounted bushing combines the superior mechanical properties of synthetic elastomer formulation with high quality sealed bearing assembly permitting smooth movement of the arm as the wheel moves up and down. Complemented by a front bushing utilizing an oversized heavy duty crush tube, resulting in dramatic improvements to steering precision, most not iceably reduced ‘toe-change’ during hard cornering, creating impressive turn-in ability! The more positive location of the arm through the range of suspension movement and gains in alignment geometry ensures the car feels more responsive and engaging at turn-in, mid corner and corner exit.

A common serviceable item, worn joints exhibit excess movement and are commonly diagnosed simply from knocking and rattling noises coming from the upright or hub area. If worn and not replaced, these joints can have significant negative impact on wheel alignment and resulting uneven tyre wear or scrub. Whiteline’s replacement joints boast superior internal joint structure for improved performance and durability. The outer housing also features a chamfered leading edge for ease of installation.
