This universal kit applies to any vehicle needing an ancillary cooler to assist in hot climates, towing, or extreme driving conditions. Our heat exchanger features a 40,000 GVW rating, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications. Within this transmission cooler kit, we include the necessary components for a typical installation. The included -in-16 to 3/8-in hose barb adapter fittings feature an integrated O-ring for leak-free operation. Fifty inches of durable SAE J1532 transmission cooler hose is provided to route fluid to and from the transmission. SAE J1532 hose is explicitly designed for transmission fluids and features a spiral polyester reinforcement for increased pressure tolerance. Because routing of fluid lines is often around sharp objects or through tight passageways, we include a durable hose protection sleeve that prevents damage from abrasion. In addition, this transmission cooler includes a durable, corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish.
