With years of oil catch can research and development time, Mishimoto has created the most effective compact oil catch can on the market. The Mishimoto Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can was designed to separate oil particles from the PCV/CCV air that would normally have just been routed back to your intake. The internal air diverter turbulates the air longer and ensures all the oil sinks to the bottom of the can, leaving nothing but clean air to pass through the 50 micron bronze filter to the intake. An internal baffle keeps the collected oil from splashing around under race conditions. This oil catch can features two ports, one inlet and one outlet, for easy installation on CCV and PCV systems. The 100-percent billet, 6061 aluminum can features 3/8in NPT threads at the inlet, outlet, and drain area and includes two black nylon fittings to make installation effortless. For maximum fitment options, the top mounting setup allows the can to be mounted from multiple angles. To make maintenance easy, the drain plug can be removed to allow for a return to the oil pan. The can is also 100-percent washable, unlike many other cans that require you to replace your filtration system.Our catch cans are different from most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems on a few levels. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all of the blow-by is able to condense in the can, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Most AOS systems also drain the blow-by back into the oil pan, while our catch cans trap the blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently. If you’ve seen what We’ve seen in the bottom of our catch cans, you won’t want that draining back into your oil either.

Gone are the days when you had to choose between hauling the family to the mall or having fun on the way. The 2020-2024 Ford Explorer ST is the ultimate vehicle for anybody who loves to go fast but needs space for 7 people, dogs, or a week’s camping trip worth of gear. But what if 400 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque isn’t enough for you and your 7 dogs? That’s where Mishimoto’s performance front mount intercooler for the 2020-2024 Explorer ST comes in. Our robust bar-and-plate intercooler boasts a massive 130-percent increase in core volume over the stock unit, with a 168-percent increase in fin surface area. Those increases result in better flow, better cooling, and, most importantly, more power. In dyno testing, our intercooler proved its worth by adding 34 HP 7 lb.-ft of torque at the wheels on the stock tune. But, where the Mishimoto intercooler really shines is when the turbos are pushed to their limits with a tune. With a stage one tune, our intercooler added a huge 65 HP and 12 lb.-ft of torque over the stock intercooler on the same tune. Even with the turbos spitting out superheated air at over 300F, our intercooler kept outlet air within 10F of ambient, versus over 200F outlet temps with the stock intercooler. All of this is achieved while being 19-percent less restrictive than stock. Performance is useless if you can only use it once. That’s why our intercoolers also focus on reliability. This 2020-2024 Explorer ST intercooler utilizes a durable bar-and-plate core that’s precision TIG-welded to the cast and CNC-machined aluminum end tanks. To ensure this intercooler stays firmly in place, we also include two adjustable lower support struts. To add an extra layer of corrosion resistance and tie it all together, we’ve finished our intercooler in a durable sleek silver powder coat. The piping included from the factory is constructed from rubber, which not only degrades over time, but also tends to move around in the engine bay as you put your Focus ST through the paces.We here at Mishimoto ditched the degradation-prone rubber for 5 layers of durable silicone reinforced with steel wire to make sure it stays put in the engine bay and holds its shape against the serious boost pressures running through it. Speaking of shape, the Mishimoto performance intercooler pipe is designed with a unique elliptical shape to accommodate for an upgrade to the Mishimoto performance radiator.Our silicone piping also features a 2.5-inch inner diameter, increasing volume 10-percent over the stock piping and resulting in a 40-percent increase in flow.
