Hotchkis Sport Suspension 22810R 2002-2006 Mini Cooper R53 Competition Rear Sway Bar. The Competition Rear is a massive 25.5mm tubular 4130 chrome moly sway bar weighing in at only 5.5 pounds! Recommended for competition use only the Competition Rear has three adjustment positions with the softest setting being the more neutral balance. From there the middle setting will really aid the Minis medium to long mid-corner speed where there will not be any throttle feathering needed to turn the car. The stiffest setting is most beneficial through very slow tight corners where without the bar you’d find yourself on and off throttle several times. With the Competition Rear this type of corner should only be a one throttle application corner with a rear-steer feel. Although handling characteristics may vary depending on your set-up each position of the Competition Rear is very distinct and useful. Now you have an advantage at the track and auto-cross course! Hotchkis Sport Suspension 22827 Sport Sway Bar Set. Although the Audi RS6 is undoubtedly an excellent handing car right out of the box RS6 owners have requested Hotchkis Sport Suspension to address the slight roll issue most notably at mid-corner. Hotchkis now offers a RS6-specific sway bar set meaning this set fits the slight design changes inherent in the RS6. Because of its super car status the RS6 differs from the standard A6 especially at the rear end. Hotchkis’ sway bar set is designed to clear componentry on the RS6 and operate freely and efficiently. This set includes a 35mm tubular front bar and a 24mm tubular rear bar. In addition the set includes all necessary mounting hardware and easy-to-read instructions. No cutting welding or modifying in any way. RS6 drivers who have tried the Hotchkis sway bars are surprised at the reduction of roll without sacrificing ride quality. Very important when the RS6 comes from the factory with aggressive spring rates and shock valving. In comparison the rear bar from the factory on the RS6 is a stout 20mm solid bar but even the weight of the car overrides this bar during spirited driving.
