Dirt Logic Stainless Steel reservoir shocks have been upgraded with black anodized 6061 Aluminum reservoir bodies. This includes both piggyback and remote reservoir shocks. The Aluminum resi construction allows for greater heat dissipation thereby keeping the shock cooler to reduce fade during aggressive offroad use. Finally each Dirt Logic piston rod has been upgraded to a NitroSteel(R) material that is super hard while providing increased corrosion resistance compared to chromed piston rods. In addition to the specific Dirt Logics for each suspension system, there is also a line of universal Dirt Logic shoc ks available in reservoir and non-reservoir styles, ranging from 8 to 16 inches of stroke. These universal shocks are sold with universal hardware kits for easy installation. Dirt Logic 2.0 and 2.25 shocks feature urethane bushings in the mounting points to reduce road noise and rattling associated with spherical bearings. Dirt Logic coilover shocks utilize spherical bearings at each end for increased strength along with urethane misalignment cups in the top caps. The misalignment cups keep the road noise transferred through spherical bearings to a minimum. Dirt Logic 2.5 and 4.0 coilover shocks use coil springs made to the highest quality standards possible. All Dirt Logic coils posses the ability to go solid without breaking, settling or bowing. The 4 Budget System utilizes the factory front coil springs with a steel upper spacer providing 4 of lift. Radius Arm drop brackets retain the factory arms with correct caster setting for the increase ride height. System includes a Trac Bar relocation bracket that has been designed to center the axle under the vehicle and still works properly with the factory Pitman Arm. This eliminates the need to replace the Pitman Arm resulting in a lower cost and faster installation time. Rear lift is accomplished with lift blocks and extended length u-bolts.

This system offers a mild lift height with easy installation for clearance of 33 tall tires on 2014 K1500s w/ factory Aluminum suspension. Lift is accomplished by utilizing the factory front Coilover shocks with steel spacer system that helps retain the stock ride of the front suspension. The stock upper control arms are replaced with thick wall DOM tubular arms that feature heavy duty extended range ball joints. These ball joints provide additional strength to the vehicles suspension compared to the factory. The front differential is relocated to keep CV angles proper with the new lift height while a 1/4 thick steel skid plate provides protection against offroad obstacles. Rear lift is accomplished with 1 1/2 rear lift block and u-bolts to help level the stance of the vehicles. Performance rear shock absorbers replace the stock units for increased damping.

The front suspension of a Sprinter van utilizes a MacPherson strut to provide damping. The stock struts leave a lot to be desired on their own once you upfit the van for overland use or haul cargo. Fabtech offers a solution to this problem by utilizing a Bilstein strut with their high-quality cold wound coil spring. The coil springs are positioned around the strut bodies. They provide an additional lift to the vehicle of 1 in.-1.5 in. over stock. This creates increased ground clearance and clearance of larger tires for off-road use. Additionally, they help reduce sway for vans with full interior build-outs or hauling heavy cargo. The coil springs utilize billet aluminum upper and lower coils seats that slide over the strut. They are positioned to the correct ride height and create a secure mounting for the springs. To further enhance the vehicle’s suspension Fabtech has also developed an Auxiliary Front Shock kit for a complete upgrade. The kit adds two high-quality Fabtech built Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks with valving specific to the Sprinter van. The valving will provide a superior ride quality for both loaded and unloaded vans. The Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks are constructed with a stainless steel bodies that provide maximum corrosion resistance in all conditions. These heavy-duty auxiliary shock mounts are built with 1/4 in. thick steel and attach to the suspension subframe only. There is no attachment to the unibody structure. This type of mounting is vastly superior to other shock kits that mount to the unibody. By mounting to the subframe this helps isolate road noise and eliminates potential stress to the unibody. With only two holes to drill for installation, it takes about 1-2 hours with no removal of the interior required. This Sprinter van coil assist kit and auxiliary shocks are the perfect upgrade for Sprinter owners looking for increased suspension damping for highway and offroad trails.
