Fits Chevrolet GEN 1 Small Blocks including the 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350 and 400. Does not fit LT1/LT4, or factory roller Small Blocks built from 1985 and newer. GM gradually added roller camshafts to 305’s and 350’s from the mid 80’s forward. Camaros/Firebirds/Corvettes received the roller cams early, but many trucks and SUV’s had flat tappet cams until the mid 90’s. COMP Cams HRT Camshaft Packages for Dodge Gen III HEMI applications take the guesswork out of choosing the right valve train upgrade package for your specific engine and desired performance.
The “Low Shock Technology” behind COMP Cams HRT camshafts features lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher RPM. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. By Spintron and dyno testing these new profiles with many combinations of valve train components, COMP Cams engineers have created valve train packages that are perfectly matched for maximum horsepower and reliability in popular modern HEMI applications. The resulting Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 HRT Camshaft Packages can add up to 170 horsepower (depending on the application) and are available as base Cam Kits (CK-Kit) or the more complete Master Kits (MK-Kit).
CK-Kits include camshaft, phaser limiter (VVT Hemi only), pushrods, Beehive or Conical Valve Springs, chromemoly steel retainers, valve locks, spring seats and valve seals. MK-Kits include everything found in the CK-Kit with the addition of upgraded, drop-in performance lifters.

11+ VVT Dodge 6.4L HEMI
While Cam phasers provide tremendous efficiency benefits, they also present some limitations when it comes to performance Camshafts. In turn, COMP Cams has developed U.S. Patented Cam Phaser Limiter and Lock Kits for Chrysler HEMI 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L V8 engines. The limiter kits limit maximum Cam phasing to 14 crank degrees (7 Cam degrees) to provide the necessary piston to valve clearance when using larger aftermarket Camshafts. Meanwhile, lock kits take all movement out of the phaser. Combining these performance modifications with more aggressive Cam profiles will result in larger upper RPM gains without sacrificing any bottom end or mid-range performance. COMP Cams Phaser Limiter and Lock Kits are one-of-a-kind, as they are the first phaser tools designed specifically for HEMI engines.
This phaser limiter kit for ’08+ Chrysler 5.7-6.4L HEMI engines comes complete with the phaser limiter, limiter tool and instructions for proper installation. This kit limits the range of cam movement to 14 degrees.

In addition, they feature precision formed and reinforced ball type ends, and the whole pushrod is black oxide finished and laser etched. The Pushrod is one of the most important pieces of the valve train, but all too often it’s taken for granted. pushrods not only have to be strong enough to not fail, bend or burn up at the ends, they must also match the frequency of all the rest of the pa parts in the valve train, as well as the rpm at which the engine will be run. Today’s all-out race engines demand the highest quality components at every step, and COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods fill that requirement. Hi-Techâ„¢ pushrods feature a one-piece design from .080″ wall, seamless chromemoly tubing that ensures the ultimate in strength and durability. Ends are precision formed, yielding added thickness and strength in the critical tip area, while maintaining constant wall thickness and concentricity. The pushrods are then heat-treated for maximum strength to ensure compatibility with guide plates. They are OD ground for consistency and black-oxide finished with length and part number laser etched on the OD for ease of identification.
