The Mishimoto N52 silicone intake boot is constructed of five layers of silicone with steel reinforcement rings for maximum durability. The steel reinforcement rings keep this hose from collapsing when under load, keeping your engine supplied with adequate airflow. The stock N52 intake boot has a resonator that BMW included to keep the N52 quiet. We tossed that resonator to the curb for a nice increase in engine and intake tone. The Mishimoto BMW Racing Thermostat fits all N52, N54, and N55 engines. It will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. Mishimoto racing thermostats will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded N52, N54 and N55 engines. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto Racing Thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

The N54 is a reliable powerhouse that’s capable of producing over 600 horsepower on stock internals, but it has its weak points.
