The TTE900+ hybrid performance turbochargers are a Stage 3 upgrade designed for the twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 AMG M157 engine. Delivering exceptional spool, response, and peak power, these turbochargers combine precision engineering with cutting-edge performance enhancements.

Engineered & Enhanced

To achieve superior performance, TTE replaces the stock compressor with a larger, highly efficient billet wheel featuring extended tip technology. The compressor cover is CNC-milled to an optimized gap, perfectly matching the new compressor profile. On the turbine side, the original units are replaced with lightweight, high-flow 9-blade turbines, and the turbine housings are precision CNC-milled to accommodate the upgraded design. Additionally, the original thrust bearing is replaced with a TTE performance bearing to ensure durability under higher boost conditions.

Advanced 9-Blade Turbine Technology

The custom TTE 9-blade turbine is engineered to maximize gas flow, reduce backpressure, and lower exhaust gas temperatures, enabling safe operation at elevated boost levels. Its reduced mass lowers rotational inertia, providing faster spool-up and improved throttle response without compromising reliability.

Precision Equilibrium

Every TTE turbocharger undergoes meticulous balancing to ensure long-term performance and reliability. Components are initially balanced at slow speeds (up to 2,800 RPM) across multiple planes using specialized single-part machines. Following assembly, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM (application-dependent) using TTE’s in-house VSR machine. This rigorous process achieves an equilibrium standard far exceeding OEM specifications, with improved acoustics and reliability. Each unit is delivered with a serial-numbered balance test document for verification.
