TTE820 5546 VTG PORSCHE 991 TURBO UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS
The TTE820 VTG Stage 3 Turbocharger System is engineered specifically for the 3.8-litre flat-six engine, delivering a significant performance increase while maintaining durability and efficiency at the highest level.
Each pair of TTE820 VTG turbochargers is meticulously upgraded from the original units. The factory compressor is replaced with a substantially larger, high-efficiency TTE billet compressor wheel, while the compressor cover is CNC-machined to achieve the optimal clearance for the new wheel profile. To further enhance airflow, 64mm TTE billet bell-mouth intake adapters are fitted, allowing direct connection to DO88 silicone intake hoses.
On the exhaust side, larger BorgWarner turbine wheels are installed, and the turbine housings are CNC-ported to improve exhaust gas flow. This results in reduced exhaust gas temperatures, improved efficiency, and increased power potential, making the TTE820 an ideal solution for high-performance Stage 3 applications.
Equilibrium & Precision Balancing
Precision balancing is a critical requirement for every TTE turbocharger, as long-term reliability, performance, and acoustic quality are paramount. Exceptional balance not only maximizes durability but also ensures smooth operation under extreme conditions.
Each turbocharger component is initially balanced individually at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our single-component balancing equipment. Once assembled, the complete CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) undergoes high-speed dynamic balancing on our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig), reaching speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on the application.
This rigorous multi-stage balancing process achieves equilibrium standards that exceed OEM specifications. Every turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, ensuring full traceability and confidence in quality.
