The TTE780+ is a high-performance turbocharger upgrade engineered for the 2.7T engine platform, utilizing RS6 exhaust turbine housings and developed from our proven 750 series. Recognized as one of the most responsive and powerful RS4/RS6-style hybrid turbo solutions available, it is capable of producing up to 780 PS on 102 RON fuel and up to 900 PS on E85 when paired with the appropriate hardware and professional calibration.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
Each TTE780+ turbocharger begins as a genuine RS6 K04 OE unit and is extensively re-engineered using premium-grade components. This upgrade represents our fifth performance stage for the 2.7T engine, delivering exceptional power potential with minimal compromise in response. With proper supporting modifications, the system can achieve approximately 2.0 bar boost at 4,000 RPM, offering an outstanding balance of rapid spool and top-end power.
Advanced Compressor Design
The turbo features RS4 compressor covers paired with enlarged, in-house CNC-machined billet inlets optimized for precise clearances and maximum efficiency. At its core is a high-efficiency 7+7 blade billet-milled compressor wheel with advanced anti-surge geometry. This lightweight, low-inertia design delivers increased airflow and pressure while maintaining quick spool-up and reduced heat generation.
Additionally, the compressor outlets are ported and polished to smooth airflow into the boost piping, further improving efficiency and performance.
Enlarged Turbine System
RS6 turbine housings are CNC-machined to accommodate a significantly larger turbine wheel with optimized tolerances. The exhaust inlet port is expanded from approximately 38 mm to 44 mm and tapered to increase throat size and flow capacity prior to the turbine.
The upgraded turbine and shaft assembly measures 50 mm exducer / 55 mm inducer, providing substantially greater flow than smaller-stage configurations. A precision turbine clip reduces blade area to improve gas flow, lower backpressure, and decrease exhaust gas temperatures, enabling higher boost levels while enhancing durability. The process also reduces rotational mass, improving spool characteristics.
High-Performance Bearing System
A proprietary 360-degree motorsport journal bearing system ensures durability under increased loads without compromising transient response, maintaining reliability even in high-boost applications.
Reinforced Actuation
The turbochargers are equipped with uprated, spring-reinforced actuators designed for dependable operation. These can be customized or calibrated to meet specific customer requirements.
Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance
Balancing is critical to performance and longevity. Each unit undergoes a multi-stage balancing process:
