The TTE650 upgrade turbocharger package has been specifically engineered for the Porsche 993 3.6L engine, delivering a highly responsive setup with a significant increase in power while maintaining excellent drivability.

To achieve the TTE650 specification, the original compressor units are replaced with new-generation, high-efficiency TTE billet compressors featuring extended tip technology. This advanced compressor design provides improved airflow, increased power potential, and strong spool characteristics.

The original K16 turbine housings and wheels are retained to preserve the authentic turbo response of the 993 platform. However, the turbine blades are carefully clipped and optimized to enhance exhaust gas flow, reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), and support higher power levels. A motorsport-grade bearing system is employed to ensure durability, reliability, and consistent performance under demanding conditions.

The result is a highly responsive turbocharger setup that delivers a substantial power increase without compromising spool, efficiency, or longevity.

Precision Balancing & Equilibrium

Achieving precise equilibrium is a critical requirement for every TTE upgrade turbocharger, as both performance and long-term reliability depend on exceptional balance quality. Proper balancing not only enhances durability but also improves acoustic behavior and overall refinement.

Each turbocharger undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage balancing process:

• Individual component balancing is first carried out at low speeds of up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes using our single-part balancing equipment.

• Once assembled, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is dynamically balanced using our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) system. Depending on the application, this process is performed at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, again in multiple planes.

This meticulous procedure allows us to achieve a balance standard significantly exceeding OEM specifications.

Every TTE turbocharger set is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report, providing full traceability and confirmation of our quality standards.
