The TTE580 is our first hybrid performance upgrade turbocharger developed from the original MAHLE turbocharger platform for the BMW B58 inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine. Designed to deliver exceptional throttle response and ultra-fast spool characteristics, the TTE580 offers a significant power increase while maintaining excellent drivability. With proven capability beyond 550+ horsepower, this unit represents one of the highest-performing hybrid turbo solutions available for the B58 platform.

Engineered & Enhanced

To create the TTE580, the original compressor assembly is replaced with a substantially larger, highly efficient billet compressor wheel featuring extended tip technology. The compressor housing is CNC-machined to achieve optimal clearances precisely matched to the new compressor profile, maximizing airflow efficiency and performance.

On the exhaust side, the original turbine is upgraded to a larger 9-blade high-flow turbine, specifically selected to reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) while significantly increasing power potential. Despite the larger turbine size, careful engineering ensures outstanding boost response and rapid spool characteristics are retained.

Precision Balancing & Equilibrium

Achieving perfect balance is a critical requirement for every TTE upgrade turbocharger, as long-term reliability and performance are paramount. Superior balancing not only enhances durability but also improves acoustic refinement and overall operational smoothness.

Each component is initially balanced individually at low speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using our dedicated single-component balancing system. Once assembled, the complete CHRA undergoes dynamic high-speed balancing on our in-house VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig), reaching speeds of up to 250,000 RPM, depending on application. This process achieves equilibrium standards that exceed OEM specifications.

Every TTE580 turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, providing documented assurance of precision engineering and quality control.
