The TTE550 Upgrade Hybrid Turbocharger is engineered to bring the Porsche 930 and 964 into the modern era of performance, using the latest in TTE turbocharger technology. This upgrade delivers higher efficiency, improved response, and robust reliability while maintaining the classic Porsche spirit.

Advanced Compressor Technology

The TTE550 replaces the original 50-year-old G-series compressors with larger, precision-machined TTE billet compressors. Utilizing the latest aerodynamic geometry, these compressors provide greater air mass across a wider flow range, resulting in improved power and efficiency.

High-Flow, Low-Mass Turbines

Stock Porsche 930 turbochargers feature heavy K27 12-blade turbines. The TTE550 upgrades these to 9-blade high-flow, low-mass exhaust turbines, designed in 2019, to deliver:

• Faster throttle response

• Increased power output

• Reduced rotational inertia

Precision Balancing for Performance & Longevity

Every TTE turbocharger undergoes meticulous precision balancing, critical for both performance and durability. The process includes:

1. Component balancing – Slow speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes using a single-part machine

2. CHRA dynamic balancing – Assembled units balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM (application-dependent) using our in-house VSR machine

This ensures ultimate equilibrium, far exceeding OEM tolerances, while improving acoustic quality.

Quality Assurance
