TTE360 4850 VAG 1.8T UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER
The TTE360 represents the highest performance stage in our 1.8T upgrade range, engineered from an original turbocharger platform to deliver exceptional power, response, and reliability. Capable of producing up to 360 PS with appropriate hardware and software support, this unit is designed as a near plug-and-play solution that retains OEM-level drivability while significantly enhancing performance — a true OEM+ upgrade.
Engineered & Enhanced Performance
The TTE360 is an evolution of our proven TTE340 stage and is built from a brand-new genuine BorgWarner K04 turbocharger. Each unit is fully disassembled and precision-upgraded by our engineers to achieve superior flow, efficiency, and durability.
At its core is a larger 7+7 billet compressor wheel, selected for its outstanding aerodynamic efficiency. We CNC re-profile the compressor housing in-house to optimized tolerances, ensuring maximum airflow efficiency and reduced turbulence. The advanced blade design lowers boost threshold for faster spool-up at low RPM while maintaining cooler charge temperatures and strong top-end power.
To drive this high-flow compressor, we machine and install a lightweight, enlarged K16 curved clipped turbine and shaft, while retaining the K04 core architecture. This sophisticated upgrade reduces back pressure and exhaust gas temperatures compared to stock turbines, enabling higher boost capability and improved reliability.
Precision Machining & Flow Optimization
The exhaust turbine housing is CNC re-profiled to accommodate the larger turbine assembly. The genuine turbine wheel is lightened and precision curved-clipped using TTE’s proprietary grinding process, which:

The compressor inlet features a 58 mm CNC-milled billet intake that creates a smooth airflow transition from intake piping to compressor wheel, minimizing turbulence and maximizing velocity. The boost outlet is similarly ported for optimal flow into charge piping.
To further enhance exhaust efficiency, the turbine housing outlet is CNC-ported from approximately 40 mm to 48 mm, enabling improved flow from upgraded manifolds and maximizing turbine performance.
Motorsport-Grade Components
A 360° high-performance journal bearing system is installed to withstand increased loads while preserving rapid transient response. The turbo also uses an uprated genuine actuator unit with reinforced stainless-steel hardware, ensuring reliable boost control and allowing custom calibration to customer specifications if required.
Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance
Balancing is a critical factor in performance and longevity. Each TTE turbocharger undergoes a multi-stage balancing process:

Individual components balanced at speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes.

Fully assembled CHRA dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM using our in-house VSR system.
This process achieves balance tolerances exceeding OEM standards and ensures smooth acoustics, durability, and consistent performance. Every unit is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test report for verification and traceability.
