The TTE300 performance turbocharger is a high-efficiency upgrade designed specifically for the VAG 1.8T engine platform. Capable of producing up to 340 PS when paired with appropriate hardware, software, and 98 RON fuel, it delivers exceptional response while maintaining OEM-level reliability. This unit is engineered as a true plug-and-play performance solution that combines increased power output with factory-grade drivability.

Engineered & Enhanced

Each TTE300 begins as a brand-new genuine K04 turbocharger, which is fully disassembled and precision-upgraded by Turbo Engineers. The conversion includes installation of a significantly larger billet compressor wheel selected for its superior efficiency and lightweight design—just 36 grams—to ensure rapid spool and throttle response. The compressor incorporates extended-tip blade technology, producing a wide compressor map and delivering outstanding airflow for its size class.

The compressor housing is CNC re-profiled in-house to optimized tolerances and surface finish, maximizing aerodynamic efficiency. In addition, the compressor inlet is CNC-milled and ported to create a smooth transition from intake pipework to the enlarged compressor wheel, reducing turbulence and increasing airflow velocity. The boost outlet is similarly ported to ensure consistent flow and minimize restriction.

On the turbine side, the exhaust housing is CNC-reprofiled to accommodate a larger, high-flow TTE turbine and shaft assembly. This upgrade improves exhaust gas flow, reduces back pressure, and lowers exhaust gas temperatures, enabling safer operation at higher boost levels.

Durability is enhanced through the installation of a motorsport-grade 360-degree journal bearing system engineered for high load capacity without sacrificing transient response. The unit also features an uprated sprung actuator constructed from genuine components, reinforced with stainless-steel clamps and hardware for long-term reliability. Custom actuator calibration can be configured to meet specific performance requirements upon request.

Precision Balancing & Quality Assurance

Precision balancing is a critical element in every TTE turbocharger, directly influencing performance, longevity, and acoustic refinement. Each component is first balanced individually at speeds up to 2,800 RPM across multiple planes using specialized single-part balancing equipment. After assembly, the CHRA undergoes dynamic multi-plane balancing at speeds of up to 250,000 RPM on an in-house VSR system, achieving balance tolerances that exceed OEM standards.

Every turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test certificate, verifying its calibration and quality assurance results.
