CSF 16-21 BMW M5 (F90) / 17-21 BMW M8 (F91/F92/F93) Twin Charge-Air-Cooler Set – Crinkle Black

The F90 M5 & F9X M8 are truly worthy successors to the F1X platform. BMW’s S63 Twin-Turbo V8 is a tried and true power plant capable of big numbers. Like most turbo engines, cranking up the boost for those big gains creates a lot more heat. Fortunately for F9X owners, CSF is here to help keep those Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) down and your power up. CSF used CFD analysis and testing to create the largest charge-air-cooler that could fit in the factory location. The custom designed Liquid-to-Air Intercooler cores are 100% larger than the factory coolers. The single piece design integrates the charge pipe creating the strongest system possible.
The CSF Charge-Air-Coolers boast a nearly 100% larger core size than factory per side. This greatly increases the capacity for heat transfer from the hot charge air from your F9X’s Turbos.
The CSF #8178 Cooling product is designed to be a “Drop-In Fit” applications. The product will install in the OEM Location with no modifications necessary unless otherwise noted or instructions are included in the product package. Please see the manufacturer repair manual for standard installation instructions. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.

Our powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tubes for better grip ensuring our 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty high-temperature silicone couplers hold tight under high-boost conditions. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps maintain a stronger grip to prevent leaks or blown boots.
